ONCO-UROVAR becomes
State Certified Nurse (IDE)
Introduced in 2018, these face-to-face training courses are now part of each congress edition's program.
These training courses are free upon registration via this site, and delivered during one day.
Cancer care is essential in the practice of the nursing profession. This training aims to understand the different types of treatments linked to urological cancers (prostate, bladder, kidney), as well as monitoring points and nursing actions.
With the aim of optimizing nursing care, this training is based on the provision of theoretical knowledge and the demonstration of technical gestures.

The main urological cancers (prostate, bladder, kidney) are subject to new recommendations by the AFU (French Association of Urology).
It is essential for general practitioners to know and master these new advances in order to optimize screening, treatment and best inform patients.
